Suicide Prevention & Teen Emotional Health

What's Up? Wellness Emotional Health Checkups, Groups & Training

WUWC is a suicide prevention program that WISE created with Shellee Sepko, LMFT for Nevada County Behavioral Health, offering free in-school mental health screenings, in-school groups and follow up treatment connections in all NJUHSD and TTUSD district high schools. WUWC works to meet the needs they see in their teen community, starting The Spectrum Project for LGBTQ+ teens and caregivers and offering mindfulness, writing and arts groups for mental wellness in schools. WUW also provides Mental Health First Aid trainings for those supporting youth and adults as well as in schools for teens as a peer-to-peer training.
